What we build

Fashion tech, built for real people

FITD is a fashion technology company building a mobile platform where people discover clothing and brands, curate a digital closet, and get AI-assisted outfit ideas so everyday dressing feels less overwhelming. Interns join a small, execution-focused team working on real codebases and user-facing product surfaces — not toy projects disconnected from the roadmap.

Digital closet

Users catalog and organize their wardrobe in-app, building a personal style archive.

AI outfit ideas

Weather-aware outfit recommendations powered by AI — dressing made less overwhelming.

FITD Room (beta)

Virtual try-on experience so users can see themselves in clothing before buying.

Shop & brand feeds

Curated brand discovery with saves and purchase tracking in one unified feed.

In-app social

Profile posts, likes, and comments — style community and discovery in one place.

Brand partner tools

Catalog presence, placements, and performance insights for brand partners.

What you'll work on

After onboarding, most interns are aligned to one primary track for the term while collaborating on shared projects across the cohort.

Social & community

Plan and post content, monitor comments and DMs, run small format/CTA experiments, and keep the brand voice consistent across platforms.

Creator & partnerships

Research creators and brand-aligned accounts, run structured outreach, maintain a pipeline, and support small pilots — UGC, discount codes, or bundle concepts.

Lifecycle (email, push, CRM)

Improve how we message users after signup: list hygiene, segmentation, welcome and campaign flows in the team's ESP/push tools, and basic engagement metrics.

Field & events

Represent FITD at events or retail venues in the Tri-State area: signups, pitches, structured feedback collection, and maintaining a venue pipeline.

Growth analytics

Document how we measure growth, maintain weekly KPI narratives, improve dashboards, and keep UTMs and campaign attribution clean for the team.

Required

Qualifications

  • Strong written communication and organizational habits (spreadsheets, lightweight CRM or trackers)
  • Professional tone; good judgment on brand voice, consent, and community boundaries
  • Coursework or hands-on experience in marketing, communications, business, analytics, events, or a strong project portfolio that shows execution

Preferred

Nice to have

  • Active on major social platforms with comfort navigating native insights or exports
  • Experience with creators, campus orgs, retail/events, or email/automation tools (e.g. Mailchimp, Customer.io, Braze, Iterable)
  • Interest in analytics tools (GA4, Amplitude, BI spreadsheets) for analytics-oriented placements

What you'll walk away with

Learning outcomes

01

Own measurable deliverables — pipeline, campaign, or reporting artifact — with documented learnings

02

Collaborate across growth disciplines with clear handoffs between tracks

03

Produce or extend a playbook, dashboard, or program the team can continue using after the cohort

Cover letter tip: In your cover letter, note which tracks interest you most (social, creators, lifecycle, field/events, or analytics). Placement is based on team needs and your strengths — preferences help us match you.
